FAQ

How many players are usually on any particular team?
Our teams usually roster anywhere from 10 to 12 players, depending on player availability and age group. We try to have no more than 12 players per team.

How many times a week do the teams have practice?
Our teams usually practice twice a week starting in March, with a once-a-month full club workout/training session on a Sunday.

Where do the Midwest Finest teams hold their practices?
We use several practice facilities around the Midwest. Since we draw players from as far north as Kokomo, as far south as Columbus and as far east as Richmond, we like to move practices around so it gives those players on the outer reaches of our drawing areas an opportunity to be closer to practice at least some of the time. Examples of some of the places we practiced last year was Ivy Tech in Noblesville, Mt. Vernon in Fortville and Triton Central in Fairland.

Is there a roster spot for my daughter currently available in her age group?
At this time, we are evaluating the results of our player tryouts for the upcoming 2019 season. Therefore, ALL roster spots are open for ALL teams. You can read more about our Player Tryouts HERE.

Can my daughter come to any of the club’s scheduled workout/training sessions even thought she isn’t currently on a Midwest Finest Team?
Yes. The mission of Midwest Finest is player development. Even if your player has not yet made a Midwest Finest roster spot, you can still participate in our once-a-month training sessions.

How much of a financial commitment will I need to make for the season?
The 2018 club fees for 8th grade and higher level teams was $750, payable in 3-payments of $250 in January, February and March. It is our hope to keep 2019 club fees at this level, although at present, the fees have not been calculated.
